Affiliate Disclosure

How we intend to make money, before we make any.

StyleJunkie AI plans to earn affiliate commission when a customer buys a garment we recommended. This page says how that works, what it does and does not influence, and where we actually stand today.

Current status, as of 19 August 2026. The application is not live. StyleJunkie AI has no signed integration, commercial agreement or affiliate partnership with any retailer or resale platform, and has earned no commission of any kind. Nothing on this website contains affiliate tracking links today.

This page is published now so that the commercial model is on the record before the first link is ever placed. It will be updated when that changes.

The intended model

When the application launches, StyleJunkie AI expects to participate in affiliate programmes operated by retailers and by affiliate networks. Under those programmes, if a customer follows a link from our app to a retailer and buys something, the retailer pays us a percentage of that sale.

Three things follow from that, and all three matter:

  • The price you pay does not change. Commission is paid by the retailer out of its own margin. It is not a surcharge, and using our link never costs you more than going to the retailer directly.
  • We are not the merchant. Checkout happens with the retailer. They take your payment, hold the inventory, ship the order and handle returns. We are not the merchant of record and we do not process payments.
  • Commission is not guaranteed. Retailers reverse commission on returned and cancelled orders. In a product built for people whose bodies are changing, returns are a normal part of the picture, not an exception.

What commission does not buy

This is the part that would be easy to leave vague, so we will not.

  • No brand pays us for placement. Recommendations are produced by matching a garment to a customer's measurements, stated preferences and observed behaviour. A retailer cannot buy a higher position in those results.
  • A higher commission rate does not raise a garment's ranking. If we ever introduce sponsored or paid placement, it will be labelled as such, on the screen where it appears, and this page will say so before it ships.
  • We will recommend "wait" when waiting is right. The product is built to tell a customer that a purchase should be deferred, or that a cheaper garment is the better buy during a transition. Both of those reduce our revenue. That is the intended behaviour, and it is a deliberate constraint on the business model.

What we are not

StyleJunkie AI is not a coupon site, not a cashback or rewards site, and not a loyalty programme. We do not offer discount codes, we do not rebate commission to customers, and we do not operate a points scheme. We are a content and recommendation publisher, and we describe ourselves that way to every network and retailer we apply to.

Resale and donation

The app is intended to route outgrown clothing to resale or donation. Where a resale marketplace pays a referral fee, the same disclosure applies. Donation routing is not a revenue line for StyleJunkie AI, and we do not intend to take a fee on a donated garment.

How disclosure will appear in the app

When affiliate links go live, any screen containing them will carry a plain-language disclosure at the point the customer can act on it — not buried in settings, and not only on this page. This page will list the networks and programmes we participate in once there are any to list.
